Tupiza – Salar de Uyuni: day 3

Our third day we started at the Arbol de Piedra. An interesting rock formation that looks like a tree made out of stone. Afterwards we crossed the Siloli desert and visited 5 different lagoons: Ramaditas, Honda, Chiarkota, Hedionda and Canape. From there we headed to the viewpoint of volcano Ollague, that only recently started showing some activity and spewing ashes. After lunch at the viewpoint we drove through Chiguara Salt flats and got to San Juan village where we spent our last night in a hotel where beds, tables, chairs, walls and floors were made out of salt!
